The migration to version 3.4, with the additional products and features of the Data Protection Suite will give Safend clients the capability of addressing data encryption, content filtering, along with port/device control, through a single software infrastructure.

The upgrade process from previous versions of Safend software, primarily from v3.3, includes some very important data migration challenges and requires planning. The upgrade process requires data migration of existing server(s), including the log/reporting database(s) and policy files to the new Safend Data Protection Suite version 3.4. In addition, the migration of the existing clients to work with the new product and deployment requires important planning steps.
The Upgrade to Safend Data Protection Suite version 3.4 Package is a 3-day pre-packaged service. With this package we will perform a full upgrade flow, including site survey, planning of the upgrade project, full server upgrade, data migration and training on the new version. In addition, we will perform a client deployment pilot.
